D.J. Augustin Game-Winning Dagger Stuns Raptors

Aside from the Milwaukee Bucks, no team was favored more to come out of the Eastern Conference than the Toronto Raptors.

The Raptors won 58 games in the regular season and may have the best player in the conference with Kawhi Leonard.

Despite all of their talent and expectations, the Raptors find themselves in an early hole as they lost to the Orlando Magic in Game 1 of their series today.

The Magic pulled off the upset victory in spectacular fashion, as D.J. Augustin hit the game-winning dagger with seconds left in regulation.

People were penciling this series in as a sweep before it even started, but the Magic clearly believe they can pull of the impossible and win this series.

The best team almost always wins in a seven-game series and the Raptors proved to be a better team throughout the season.

For now though, the Magic have at least made things interesting.

Pascal Siakam’s 30-Point Double-Double Leads Raptors to Victory

The Orlando Magic did everything they could late to get back into tonight’s game against the Toronto Raptors, but their comeback attempt ended up in being futile.

While the Raptors feature one of the best players in the NBA in Kawhi Leonard, he was not even their best forward tonight.

Instead it was Pascal Siakam who carried Toronto to the victory, as he made plenty of key plays coming down the stretch and led the Raptors in scoring.

Siakam ended the night with double-double as he scored 30 points and picked up 11 rebounds. By doing so, Siakam earned a little piece of franchise history as only the second player to record those numbers.

After losing their first game to Orlando, the Raptors have now won two straight and look to be back in control of the series.

Game 4 will be played in Orlando on Sunday and if the Raptors win, they will have the chance to close out the series back at home next week.

The Boston Celtics are well on their way to advancing to the Eastern Conference Semifinals after another victory tonight.

It was yet another team effort for the Celtics, as they featured five double-digit scorers in the win.

With the Pacers trading buckets with the Celtics for most of the night, it took a great fourth quarter effort from Boston’s best player to get this win.

The Celtics will look to close out the series with a sweep on Sunday, when they face the Pacers in Indiana for Game 4.

LeBron James may be bringing his old coach to L.A. with him, as former Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue is in the running for the Lakers job.

Lue is set to meet with Lakers GM Rob Pelinka today to discuss the coaching vacancy.

Lue has been heavily-favored for this job since the position became available, with the obvious ties that Lue has with the Lakers best player.

Lue did help LeBron capture an NBA title a few years ago, when the two won the 2016 NBA Finals after falling behind 3-1 to the Golden State Warriors.

Now Lue could be joining LeBron as they try to make the Lakers once great organization relevant again.
