Details of Terrelle Pryor’s Stabbing Emerge as Wide Receiver is Charged with Assault

When Terrell Pryor ended up in the hospital with stab wounds that occurred in his Pittsburgh apartment on Friday night, it was fair to assume that this may have been the result of a domestic violence.

Now reports have come out indicating that was the case, as his girlfriend, Shalaya Briston was in fact the person that stabbed him.

Briston has been charged with Criminal Attempt Homicide and Aggravated Assault, while Pryor is facing charges.

According to an article by TMZ Sports, Pryor and Briston had gotten into an argument earlier in the night on Friday after dinner and drinks with friends.

Briston then left their apartment to go clubbing with her friends, meanwhile Pryor stayed back. When Briston and her friends returned, they found Pryor upset in the hallway and their argument from before resumed and turned physical.

That fight led to the kitchen, where Pryor was ultimately stabbed in the chest and shoulder. Briston and her three friends then drove Pryor to the hospital, preventing his serious injuries from becoming fatal.

This is not likely the last thing we will hear about this incident as the situation continues to evolve.

In the end, the most important thing is that Pryor is expected to return to full health, as he could have lost his life as a result of this incident.

Buffalo Bills Lose to the Ravens, Despite Slowing Lamar Jackson

There has not been very many teams that have been able to slow down Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens offense this year.

Jackson is the favorite to win the MVP, as he has put together an incredible performances on an almost weekly basis.

The Buffalo Bills defense proved to be up to the task of defending Jackson however, as they held him to a very quiet week. Yet the Ravens still found a way to win their ninth-straight game.

Jackson was held to less than 200 yards for the first time this season. He still threw three touchdowns passes though, doing just enough offensively to get the win.

Baltimore’s defense was great as well, helping Jackson overcome some of his deficiencies as they truly play complimentary football.

The Ravens are getting very close to clinching a bye in the playoffs, as they are now sitting with a great 11-2 record on the season. Any combination of another Ravens win and a Chiefs loss will seal the bye.

Meanwhile the Bills are still angling for a Wild Card spot with their 9-4 record.

One thing Buffalo has proved against the Ravens, as they have all season, is that they can play with anybody.

Matt Ryan Becomes 10th Quarterback in NFL History to Throw for 50,000 Yards

Matt Ryan may not always been mentioned when talking about the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, but his stats sure present a strong argument.

Ryan has been one of the most prolific passers in the league for over a decade, leading the Atlanta Falcons to plenty of success.

On Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, Ryan joined some elite company, as he became the 10th quarterback in NFL history to throw for 50,000 yards.

Ryan has always had a big arm, leading to many touchdown passes and big plays over the years. Even at 34 years old, Ryan is still making those plays.

Ryan led the Falcons to another victory over the Panthers, as his offense put up 40 points. Ryan completed 20 of his 34 passes, for 313 yards and two touchdowns.

Along with becoming the 10th quarterback to reach the 50,000-club, Ryan also passed a Peyton Manning record for most yards thrown in a quarterback’s first 12 seasons.

This season has been a down year for the Falcons, as they currently sit with just a 4-9 record.

Ryan’s numbers are still pretty solid, as he has 3,559 yards and 22 touchdowns.

Ryan will have the chance to accumulate some truly impressive numbers in his career, as he is still under contract for four more seasons.

Drew Lock Leads the Broncos Past the Texans in Second Career Start

After years of searching, John Elway may have finally found his quarterback.

Drew Lock looked incredible on Sunday, playing a near-flawless game as the Denver Broncos blew out the Houston Texans.

Drew Lock was the Denver Broncos second round pick in this year’s draft, but it took a long time before he hit the field. Lock suffered a thumb injury in preseason and spent the first part of the season on injured reserve.

He finally made his NFL debut last week, beating the Los Angeles Chargers 23-20. Lock was not that impressive in that victory though, completing 18 of his 28 passes for just 134 yards.

In his second start though, Lock was exceptional, carving up the Texans defense in stunning fashion.

Lock did a lot of his damage in the first half, leading his team to a huge 31-3 lead.

The Texans did their best to turn it into a game in the second half, scoring three touchdowns but it was too little too late.

Now Broncos fans are starting to get excited, as they may have finally found their quarterback.

The position has been a turnstile of quarterbacks ever since Peyton Manning, as the likes of Brock Osweiler, Paxton Lynch, Trevor Siemian, Case Keenum and most recently Joe Flacco have failed to become the franchise quarterback.

Lock has been very impressive, particularly against the Texans, but we are still looking at an awfully small sample size right now.

Just ask the Carolina Panthers about Kyle Allen, who looked like the franchise quarterback for about a month but has come back to earth since.

Still, Lock was a high draft pick and did have a pedigree to suggest his success in the NFL. Back in 2017 at Missouri, Lock led the FBS in touchdown passes with 44.

Now Lock is setting records in the NFL and is showing a lot of promise.

Only time will tell if the Broncos have their franchise quarterback in Drew Lock, but so far so good for the rookie.
